Synopsis (English below)
Francophone-hybride est un documentaire réalisé à Winnipeg pendant le Festival du voyageur. Ce festival d’hiver annuel fait honneur à l’héritage francophone, métisse et autochtone de la province du Manitoba. Dans cette oeuvres, Hébert nous présente avec diverses anecdotes et histoires des membres de la communauté et elle cherche à explorer le mélange des cultures, langues et les adaptations qui sont uniques à cette partie du Canada.
Francophone-hybride is a documentary that was shot in Winnipeg during the Festival du voyageur, an annual winter festival which celebrates Manitoba’s Métis, Francophone and First Nations heritage. Through personal anecdotes and stories from members of the community, this film explores ideas about culture, language, history and adaptation.
